Convenience stores against taxes

The conflict between truth and imitation has once again intensified in Ukraine. Recently, a brazen scheme surfaced in Bukovina - a chain of 24 stores, fulfilling a basic duty of a taxpayer, somehow evaded paying over 20 million hryvnias. Isn't it impressive? Oh, yes, but this is just the beginning.

The owners of this network, true masters of flexibility, controlled the entire process: from production to sales. They are in collusion with more than thirty individual entrepreneurs, who were given formal status to “distribute” sales. This is not just evasion, it is a mechanism for dividing up businesses, a subtle game behind the backs of those who pay their taxes honestly.

This scheme avoided the transition to a general taxation system, opened the door to VAT evasion and higher personal income tax rates. Add to this unofficial, cash wage payments - and we get a picture of absolute irresponsibility.

The investigation is not stopping there. Federal authorities have recorded attempts to legalize illegally obtained funds through the purchase of property. It is quite obvious that this is not just a matter of individuals. A possible crime by a group of individuals implementing this parallel reality is being investigated.

This is a mark on the face of a society that hopes for justice. And while some avoid responsibility, others pay for them. Let there be justice!
