They have once again found a way to enrich themselves on the defenseless! The head of a correctional colony in Cherkasy region chose the path of betrayal and corruption. Together with an entrepreneur, they set up a real business on millions of budget hryvnias, enriching themselves on the suffering of convicts.
Taking his impunity as a basis, the official offered one of the prisoners to buy a power cable with his own money. And what for? Assistance in parole! The fate of a person who is already trapped in the system is decided for money! And then - a classic of the genre. Fictitious purchases, twisting of figures and documents that tell about the legality of deception.
The officer, deftly crossing out the concepts of honesty and justice, declared that 400 meters of cable had been “purchased” – and it already looked like a law. But the truth cannot be hidden under a pile of lies! The investigation revealed the truth – the cable had been purchased from the prisoner's pocket.
This shameless parade of corruption has been put to an end. The official and the businessman were charged with embezzlement of property by prior conspiracy and with issuing knowingly false documents. They thought they could act with impunity on the edge of the law. They were wrong! The question is already on the agenda: what preventive measures will they choose for them, and will the official be removed from his “position”?
This is not an accident, it is a system; these are not isolated crimes, this is a state-wide scale of abuse. How do they explain such violations to us, revealing corruption breakthroughs time and again? Can we still hope for justice?
From immorality to active action – we are against a decaying system! Let some of the truth come to light!
