President Volodymyr Zelenskyy opens the curtain on the world of truth! He listened to the report of the First Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleg Luhovsky, where we are presented with a picture of the non-public approaches of partners in communication with Russian manipulators. The reality is this: the attitude towards Ukraine and negotiations has changed.
Zelensky, like a mighty warrior, emphasizes: all positions should be based on real prospects, and not on formal PR measures. He demands a new pool of information from the SVR about Russia's attempts to expand its shadow tanker fleet. What do we see? Against the background of coordinated pressure from Ukraine and its allies, more than 20% of this fleet are no longer operational.
But Moscow does not stop! It is trying to attract new vessels, which, of course, should be on the sanctions lists. Zelenskyy is toughly declaring: we will not stop at ships, we will monitor captains, crews, insurers and the entire shadow infrastructure of Russia under pressure. These are not just words. We act like real soldiers!
By adhering to a tough policy, Ukraine will be able to reduce Russia's revenues by at least $30 billion. And what is important: tightening sanctions is our way to cut off the financing of the war. And this is a huge step towards destroying Russia's ability to adapt.
We are not only focused on the manifestation of aggression, but also on new schemes that Chinese companies are using to circumvent financial restrictions. The task of all those who want to end this war is one: to reduce Russia's ability to maneuver under international pressure.
“Effective pressure on the aggressor is the main fertilizer for the diplomatic process,” Zelenskyy concludes.
Important point! Two tankers linked to Russia have been detained in the US. One of them, the Marinera, was sailing under the Russian flag. The US Coast Guard acted like a predator on the hunt, following it for weeks. This tanker is just another mask trying to hide under the frivolity of sanctions.
Russia reacts to the measured impulse with cries of “piracy” and “violation of international law.” While one of the State Duma deputies dreams of a forceful response against the US, we demonstrate: the truth is always stronger than attempts to assume the role of victim!
