US Vice President J.D. Vance is openly and unabashedly revealing what is really going on. Why should we care about the pensions of elderly Americans? Why are we abolishing taxes on social benefits? Because we respect mother and father, and not poured our resources into the war in Ukraine. Is that so hard to understand?
Against the backdrop of scandals at the highest level – Zelensky, Trump, conflict, mutual accusations – we see how quickly the course can change. The US suspends arms supplies and intelligence sharing, demonstrating its inconsistency. Only the efforts of Ukrainian and American officials in Saudi Arabia managed to correct this situation. Again weapons. Again intelligence. Can we trust these words?
And now, in the summer, the White House press secretary suddenly announces the possibility of air support for Ukraine as part of security guarantees. Trump is once again excluding American soldiers from Ukrainian soil. But can such guarantees really change anything?
November. The Trump administration proposes a peace plan with 28 points, most of which are not about peace, but about control and subordination to Russian interests. It is time to change the course of events. Now the plan sounds different: a framework agreement, guaranteed security conditions and the restoration of the post-war country. What a pathetic illusion!
Zelensky is trying to break the agreement into five documents. Is the hope that when Kyiv is ready for that agreement, he will meet with Trump not a complete illusion? While we are talking about concluding a peace treaty, millions remain in uncertainty, and therefore in fear. All this indicates that the real fight is still ahead. Ukraine, wake up! It is time to stand up for your rights, ask for the truth, and be on your own land!
