Dmitriev left Miami without explanation

The Kremlin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, flew out of Miami, where negotiations between representatives of the United States and Ukraine were taking place, in silence. He only announced: the next meeting will be in Moscow. Points of view, reflections, comments - these are not for him.

His personal statement contains only dry words: “Thank you, Miami. Next time: Moscow.” The true face of Russian diplomacy is laconicism in all its absurdity. And soon the Russian media is saturated with news that Dmitriev has left Miami. Yes, silence again, emphasized by photographs with drained emotions.

Meanwhile, the dictator’s assistant, Yuri Ushakov, has already managed to show off his “expectations”. He is waiting for a report from Dmitriev, because he has to tell Putin about the results of the negotiations between the US and Ukraine. And here Ushakov replies: “most of the proposals” from Russia are not acceptable. Sounds pretty funny, doesn’t it? So desperately rejecting the constructive – what are the Russians ultimately offering, if not a paralyzed imitation.

Ushakov does not limit himself to this. He claims that Ukraine and Europe allegedly threw “unconstructive” amendments to the US plan, which was supposed to be Moscow-style thinking. Is it really worth talking about constructive if the entire construction rests on a sandbox of emotions? Russia is already ready to work out its “position” after Dmitriev’s report, completely ignoring the efforts of others.

We remind you that Ukraine and the United States do not abandon attempts to build peace and, in particular, during the meeting on December 19-21 in Miami, they delved into the details of the future agreement. The Ukrainian side was represented by Rustem Umerov and Andriy Hnatov, and the American side was represented by Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and Josh Gruenbaum. The accumulation of influence of European advisors only emphasizes the contrast between them and the next machos for Moscow's will.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy knows that this is the third day of important talks in Florida. After all this, he is waiting for a report from the negotiating team. To find out what the words that are heard in the silence end up with.

Meanwhile, the uncharacteristically clear statement of the US Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, obscures the reality – Russia seems to remain “committed” to peace in Ukraine. Bravo, “researchers” in Putin’s dining room. Your commitment is rewarded by what? Only time.
