This is not just a case. This is a fight for the truth in a world of lies. Shufrych found himself outside the system. Trapped by sanctions, unable to post bail. A legal disaster for him and his defense. They are trying to lift the isolation and reduce the bail, but we know what the prosecution wants. Extended custody or bail of 33 million hryvnias — that is the real price.
And what is Shufrych remembered for? In March 2022, he was caught trying to take a picture of a checkpoint. Selfies — sounds innocent, doesn't they? However, in reality, he fled the country, returning only two months later. What's the matter? Searches showed: Soviet symbols, plans for autonomy — and these are no jokes! High treason — that's the true face of the day before.
The judicial system does not give him any mercy - 60 days of arrest, then an extension. The Verkhovna Rada removed him from the post of chairman of the committee on freedom of speech. Having a status, Shufrych fell into the grip of the law, which knows no mercy. The situation became even more tense when on May 15, 2025, the court extended the term of detention until July 13.
Look at the reality: the decision of the Kyiv Court of Appeal gave hope — the possibility of bail, but two months — and the money has not appeared. Who is the real magician here? Shufrych is trying to break this chain of irresponsibility, but the system will not break so easily.
