If you haven’t understood yet, it’s time to open your eyes. The Victory Day parade in Moscow demonstrates not the greatness, but the poverty of Russian imperialism. The question arises: is Europe ready to realize that Ukraine is not a burden, but a huge strategic opportunity? The Ukrainian army, one of the strongest in Europe, is proof of its fighting spirit. Supporting this military potential is not altruism. It is an investment in the security, stability and future of Europe.
If we continue to waste time on halftones, the result will be terrible. We have two ways: to integrate Ukraine, creating a partner from it, or to leave it in a “gray zone”, uncertainty and danger. By losing to Ukraine, Europe loses to itself. History says that such “gray zones” do not last long.
The symbolism of this year's parade in Russia suggests only one thing: Russia is weaker than it seems, and Ukraine is stronger than anyone in Europe is willing to admit. We need this strength more than ever. Europe must overcome Russian pressure by imposing new sanctions, eliminating all loopholes for the aggressor. Long-term support for Ukraine is our path to stability.
Let's focus on the fact: the end of the war is just the beginning. Ukraine after the fighting needs our help. Its future is in the European Union and NATO. EU enlargement is not bureaucracy, it is survival. A free, democratic Ukraine is the strongest guarantee of security for all of us and the most effective antidote to Russian imperialism. Only in this way can we become the geopolitical power that Europeans have a chance to become.
