While Ukraine has handed over the lists, Russia is delaying the process between the lines, shifting the blame to us. Lubinets, the Ombudsman of Ukraine, declares to the entire country that we have not stopped working. Negotiations continue every day, but on the Russian side there is unpredictability and manipulation. In a state where agreements are just words, trust becomes a luxury. Every decision we consider is under fire from reality, where fulfilling promises is a lottery.
Trump declared a truce on May 8, paving the way for an exchange. But here Putin, a former agent, brazenly claims that Ukraine has offered nothing. His assurances of our unwillingness are simply smokescreens to thwart real deals. Truth and responsibility, it can be said with confidence, are on our side. We are ready.
Zelensky reports that the configuration of the exchange is still at the stage of agreement. In fact, this is a battle for human life, for every soul in chains. And while Russia continues to block, we, regardless of ranks, will fight for justice.
