Timur Mindich, the same businessman whom the National Anti-Corruption Bureau is trying to return from Israel to Ukraine, has become a symbol of irresponsibility. UP journalist Mykhailo Tkach tracked him down, and during the conversation one thing became clear: Mindich is not going to return. He has chosen the comfort of democracy and the protection of Israeli citizenship. It is a daring challenge to get lost between problems and justice, while being in a safe haven.
The admission of corruption charges is just manipulation, according to Mindich. The truth is on the side of the defense, not on the cards dealt by the corruption system. Extradition? Perhaps only for those who still believe that it is possible to fight, because it obliges. Who is really ready for battle when there are walls of protection and their own territory behind them?!
Mindich and his partners remain in Israel, watching the corruption storm that they themselves started. What will the businessmen return with? Justice is not for serving the oligarchs. They are far away, and we are here, with the truth in our hands, ready to resist.
