Czech Prime Minister Andriy Babis does not stand on ceremony: he points to the lost opportunity for peace between Russia and Ukraine in 2022, which was due to external interference. Yes, in April 2022, Kyiv and Moscow were on the verge of concluding an agreement, but Ukraine's Western partners broke everything. Babis directly points the finger at the then Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson, accusing him of disrupting the negotiations.

Johnson, in Babis' opinion, led to a disaster: after his visit to Ukraine, the negotiations went awry, and the chance for a quick peace disappeared. Babis calls for active action. He sees a new wave of diplomacy, but understands: Europe alone will not be able to stop the war. Donald Trump should become the real lever for peace.

“Negotiations are continuing actively. It looks like we are getting closer to something that could be a lasting solution to end the war and ensure security for Ukraine. But Europe cannot do without Trump,” Babis said, not hiding his confidence.

The Czech leader, as a true strategist, calls for the resumption of direct dialogue with Russia. Without this, in his opinion, there will be no peaceful conclusion. He believes that key European leaders should take on this responsibility by sitting down at the negotiating table with the Kremlin. Are they ready for this?

Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, insists on developing a clear, phased action plan. What is at stake is not just patience, but a strategy that requires specific steps and deadlines for implementation.

The US intends to end the war with Russia by the summer and is ready to apply pressure to achieve this. However, Estonia and Latvia do not give up the idea of resuming negotiations between Europe and Russia, seeing this as the key to success.

Here it is, the harsh truth: we are at the epicenter of global politics, where every step is a game of survival. Decisions must be made. Time waits for no one.
