Kravchenko appointed a compromise

Another imitation program. Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, as always, decided to «emphasize» his «independence» of anti-corruption policy. Frankly speaking, he appoints Oleksiy Shevchuk to the SAPO competition commission, whose integrity received another renaissance in 2023, when the Ethics Council decided that he was not suitable. Let us recall that in 2018, during a state tender, Shevchuk, as the head of JSC “Barristers”, used a letter of feedback from the NGO “Reanimation Package of Reforms”. And this is not just a letter, but a document from an organization that was not registered as a legal entity at that time. Who was behind this “cloning”? And, of course, the co-owner of LLC “Law Agency “Shevchuk and Partners”, in which Shevchuk himself had a share.

This is not just a fake, it is an attempt to distort reality! He signed most of the documents for the tender, and Radina notes that Shevchuk used this fake recommendation, trying to ingratiate himself with the coalition, which, by default, looks like a symbol of transparency. Today, Barristers JSC calls him a partner and speaker, despite the fact that he has not been officially involved since September 2024.

And what about the registration of the trademark “Court Reporter”? The Ethics Council is sounding the alarm again. Shevchuk knew about the existence of the website “Court Reporter” by Iryna Saliy during her «honest» attempt to register an identical trademark. According to the author, he actually wanted 7-10 thousand euros for it. And these are not just sins, but a system of irresponsibility that has won again.

With such a businessman, why is Kravchenko not afraid to speculate on the trust of the people? The Law “On the Prosecutor’s Office” clearly states that only honest persons can be members of the competition commission. Kravchenko, at the time of appointment, considers Shevchuk to be exactly that. Imagine! Laughter and tears in one face. The Prosecutor General does not forgive, just as he does not forgive rumors about his resignation, which he resolutely denies.

And how can we not ask the question: when will we finally overcome this ugly imitation of justice?
