So, in Uzhhorod, the fare for public transport has been increased again! Now the fare will cost 23 UAH. Look, so the cost of a ticket when paying through a validator has decreased to 18 UAH. How does that sound? It seems like they are trying to reduce the fiscal burden through “technology”, but in fact we have the usual picture — we are paying more again.

The decision on this issue took place during a meeting of the executive committee on Monday, December 22. Is it worth mentioning that the mayor, Bohdan Andriyiv, allegedly did not participate in the vote? Why? Conflict of interest! Yes, the mayor's niece, Tetyana Andriyiv, owns “Uzhgorod ATP 12107”. The system protects its own!

New bus fares will come into effect on Saturday, December 27 – from the moment the executive committee’s decision is published in the Uzhhorod newspaper. And this is not the first time that city residents have experienced price increases – the fourth in five years. Let’s recall previous increases: in October 2020, the fare increased to UAH 8, then in May 2022 to UAH 12, and in June 2024 to UAH 15. This is not just a trend, it is a systemic process of stealing from the pockets of local residents.

The servants of the system, serving their interests at the expense of the simple truth, continue to exert pressure on the population, and we must actively resist this. It is time to act! It is time to declare - we will not submit to this irresponsibility!
