Europe is staring into the eyes of a merciless reality. Vladimir Putin, the initiator of the war against Ukraine, no longer inspires fear in the world. EU High Representative Kaia Kallas lifts the curtain and tears off the masks. At a briefing after the EU Council meeting, she bluntly declares: «Putin is weaker than ever.» These are not just words. This is a cry of truth echoing off the walls of Russian propaganda. He is suffering defeats on all fronts, his war is taking lives, and the mood in society is rapidly deteriorating.
The imitation of power is falling like a house of cards. The Internet is under control so that people do not learn the truth. But even closed news will not stop a determined Ukraine: its long-range strikes are striking at the very heart of the Russian war and support for Putin is melting like snow in the scorching sun. Discontent is growing among influential figures who are no longer afraid to speak the truth.
But Putin is not ready for peace talks. His maximum demands are only desperate resistance. Europe hears this call: we will not give up. We will fight on. Putin does not seem strong, and it seems that this is only the beginning. The situation on the front is changing—the initiative is on the side of Ukraine. The occupier attacks, but the successes are reflected only in their hopes.
The war continues, and with it comes the opportunity to open our eyes and see the truth more clearly. It is time to escape the lies and fight back.
