This is how these inhumans operate: they approach by phone with existing manipulations, and the typical narrative is that you are sponsoring the war if you buy goods from Belarus. Isn’t that true? Of course, but who is looking at the truth now?
They convinced her that money would save her. Apparently, the “special services” needed her savings for verification. The woman remembered the code word from the scammer and with tears in her eyes handed over the money. In total, it was almost 2 million hryvnias. The scheme is banal, but it works on the gullible.
The fraudster, a 54-year-old resident of Sumy region, has now been detained. He will now face justice for his criminal actions. And his accomplice? The investigation will continue. This is not just a financial loss; it is a destroyed hope, a failure to protect the weakest.
And while it's all in one corner of the country, new fraudulent schemes are emerging in other regions. Kyiv scammers are "selling" positions in military structures, and in Odessa, dishonest people are disposing of the apartments of the deceased.
Let's not be silent! We are against the system, against irresponsibility, against the deception that destroys people. It's time to point out the hypocrisy!
