Russian Oreshnik missile strike in Ukraine. This is not just news. This is a reality in which Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka found himself less than an hour’s drive from the attack site. He arrived in Kyiv on the morning of January 9, having just completed his journey from Przemyśl. And so what? The train stopped, was delayed – the reasons are clear. A large-scale missile attack on Ukraine.
This minister, whose goal is peace, immediately responded to the attacks by emphasizing the obvious need to stop the violence. “We must stop killing,” he declared, as if throwing it to the wind. Remember this: in the process of peace negotiations, escalations often occur so that one side “save face.” And we, the people, have another choice.
He emphasized this, having lost confidence in the version of an alleged Ukrainian strike on Putin's residence, thrown up by the Russian Ministry of Defense as an excuse. Pay for an imitation of peace?!
In addition, at this moment he happened to arrive in Ukraine against the backdrop of a scandal that erupted after inadequate statements by the speaker of the Czech parliament. Okamura called our government a “Zelensky junta” and spoke out against providing weapons to Ukraine in a supposedly senseless war. Who needs diplomatic maneuvers here?
As the Russians launch ballistic missiles, we stand guard over the truth. The Ukrainian Air Force reports on the Oreshnik, a missile that sped at breakneck speeds and struck fear into hearts. The SBU displays the remains of these deadly toys. This is barbarity for which there is no excuse.
We will not tolerate lies. Our independence demands action and the unvarnished truth.
