Four years is the age of the youngest child who became a victim of sexual violence committed by the Russian military. And this is just the beginning of the terrible statistics. Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, reports on the opening of 363 criminal cases related to these vile crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. These are not statistics - these are the cries of those who suffer.

At a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on May 13, 2025, Lubinets shocked those present by stating the terrible reality that Ukrainians face. “The youngest age of a victim of sexual violence committed by Russian soldiers is 4 years old…” – without embellishment, without mercy. Children, women, men – they all found themselves under the blow of barbarity.

“363 criminal cases have been opened… Investigations are ongoing… we are recording constant crimes in the occupied territories,” Lubinets announced. These are not just words – they are a promise to act while the world remains silent. Three Russian servicemen, aged 37, 30 and 28, are awaiting trial, accused of violating the laws of war. Their cruelty will not go unpunished.

This is a truth that tears us apart. This is a fight for honor, dignity, and independence. Justice and action will be our most powerful tools in this battle. We do not accept irresponsibility, we stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.
