Putin is not ready for peace

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, as always, has his finger on the pulse of the war against Ukraine. Despite all the efforts of the US, Europe and Ukrainians, it is difficult to find even a hint of his desire to end this bloody aggression. The end of the war? It was not here.

“Only one person can end this war, and that is Vladimir Putin,” says the German Defense Minister. Americans, Europeans, and Ukrainians are making great efforts to stop the fire, but there are no signals of peace from Moscow. This is an illusion, a simple imitation with no intention of changing anything.

The talks in Berlin were not just another act in this tragedy. Chancellor Friedrich Merz clearly emphasized that Europe has a say in what happens next with Ukraine. The consensus between European partners, the United States, and Ukraine is not just words. It is a new level of seriousness in the confrontation.

Pistorius emphasizes: the interest-free loan of 90 billion euros, approved at the EU summit, will be a lifeline for Ukraine. Despite various economic difficulties, this step means that the war is going to continue. The iron hand of Europe is again in support of independence.

Regarding the possibility of sending German troops to Ukraine as part of a “multinational force led by Europe,” Pistorius urges caution. For now, these are just hypothetical considerations. As long as Putin is not even ready for a truce, there can be no talk of peace.

Only recently did Putin confirm that Russia, in all its madness, is striving to achieve the goals of the war with Ukraine. His words are reminiscent of the threats: if the “root causes of the conflict” do not recede during negotiations, Russia is ready to resort to military action again. Restore “historical lands”? Enough already!

In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky points to one simple fact: Putin himself announced that next year will be a “year of war.” Strength, resistance, and truth against irresponsibility are what’s important now. The system will not bring us to our knees. We stand. We fight.
