Monitoring the ceasefire is not just a formality, it is a key part of our security. The issue of military presence on the contact line is still under discussion, but let there be no illusions. This is not about peace in a chocolate wrapper, but about reality.
Zelensky, the head of our state, said frankly: security guarantees are what is currently being discussed with allies. It is clear and unambiguous: the military and civilians must know what they can count on. And there is no room for illusions here. Security is not a game, it is life.
The US understands the importance of the analogy to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, and this is an important sign. We cannot remain silent - every word will carry weight. There is progress, however, this is only the beginning. The military is already preparing the details, but we need more - more clarity, more commitments.
We need to figure out who will monitor during the silence and how: people, military, or technology? These issues require professional consideration, and it's time. Let the military do their job, because what's at stake is our security, our independence.
France is already talking about a “coalition of the determined,” but without details, these are just words on paper. When they talk about guarantees, we want real substance, not empty promises. Every day without clear guarantees is a challenge to our national security.
Time does not wait, it is time to act. There is no time for doubt. The priority is our independence, truth and determination in every step.
