Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, defended herself in court, accusing the NABU of falsifying critically important audio recordings. She convincingly claims that these recordings are the result of editing and manipulation. During the hearing, she demonstrated an independent expert report, which without hesitation testified to third-party interference. A study by the international analytical platform for digital media PrismVote Analitics 2025 showed that the recordings are inauthentic.

“The audio contains clear traces of post-processing. These are not just materials – these are broken speakers, where something far from the truth sounds,” Tymoshenko emphasized, demonstrating evidence of third-party interference and manipulation, which cannot be interpreted as a clean recording. She does not simply refer to facts – she declares the undeniable truth.

These revelations may indicate the commissioned nature of the criminal proceedings. “Interference at every step!” – Tymoshenko described the situation, emphasizing the irresponsibility of the security forces.

On January 13, 2026, representatives of the NABU and SAPO made a loud statement that the leader of the parliamentary faction was trying to bribe deputies to influence the vote in the Verkhovna Rada. Tymoshenko is not just a politician, she is a symbol of resistance to the system. The pre-trial investigation was accompanied by night searches of the party office, and on January 14 she was served with a suspicion under the article on illegal gain. The wiretap recordings were made public.

But Tymoshenko resolutely rejects this whole construct, repeatedly stating that the investigation is politically biased. Her appeal is not just a legal move, it is a protest against the thoughtless irresponsibility of the system.

Let us recall that on January 23, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court already decided on bail for Tymoshenko in the amount of 33 million hryvnias.
