Something that should not have happened happened in Vinnytsia. Ten years of life, ten years of struggle, and in the end… a disabled boy died of hunger. Almost two months without food is not just a tragedy. It is evidence of irresponsibility, systemic negligence and indifference of society to those who are most vulnerable.
We are witnessing a horrific inequality where economic and social injustice results in the deaths of innocents. A child who could do nothing to change has become a victim of a system that ignores those who need it most. And where is our anger when human lives are devalued to the last drop? Where is our strength to fight this cynical mess?
This case is a wake-up call. It is time to finally admit the truth without embellishment. No imitation of charity or empty promises. Real action requires real effort. We cannot remain indifferent when it comes to the lives of children. This is our front. This is our battle.
Let this boy become a symbol of discontent, of protest. We cannot allow such tragedies to be repeated. A system that ignores the needs of the defenseless must be changed. Because as long as we remain silent, as long as we allow this reality to exist, we also bear a share of the blame. Enough! It's time to act!
