It's time for everyone to understand: this is not an initiative, this is a demand to return to the game where they set the rules. The word is for European leaders, who seem to be losing patience against the backdrop of Moscow's outright ignoring. Tons of statements issued by the European Union, including from the President of the European Council, only confirm: the steps towards dialogue are connected with disappointment in the lack of effectiveness of previous attempts.
Peskov, the Kremlin’s verbal shield, points out that it was the Europeans, not Russia, who approved the 2022 break in relations. So, after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the West took its step, deciding to stop all contacts with Moscow. And now, when times of anxiety are palpable, Russia declares: Europe must take the first step. Who is really the initiator?
The aforementioned “forced” delay to the point of crisis clashes creates a humanitarian tremor in the heart of Europe, which continues to provide assistance to Ukraine. These are not just verbal battles, this is a battle for truth, intertwined with efforts to celebrate peace while facing war. Therefore, attempts to demand discussion and “high prospects” of dialogue, emotional position cannot be ignored.
The conclusion is simple: peace advocates must realize that the game against the system continues. The reality is confrontation: Ukraine needs a clear position for real peace. Putin continues to play on contradictions, while the EU must defend its interests without succumbing to manipulation. The situation requires determination, action and harsh truth without masks.
