The Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, signals: this is not just a random operation, but part of a systemic struggle. Underground shops, counterfeiting, illegal sales - we are detecting and destroying this abomination. But do not speculate on illusions: new centers may appear tomorrow. The state is fighting the consequences, not the causes.
Tsywinsky emphasizes: the vaping market requires strict regulation — transparent rules and real conditions for businesses that want to exist legally. It's time to forget about irresponsibility and move on to actions that will break this shadow economy. Otherwise, we will remain in an endless cycle of "fighting fires.".
15 years was not enough to implement rules that really work. 95% of the vaping market remain illegal, and the state loses 7.5 billion hryvnias annually. This is unacceptable. We need to act, change the system, otherwise we will be stuck in a dead end forever.
At the end of April, border guards of the Volyn detachment, together with customs officers, detained a shipment of vapes worth over 2 million hryvnias. But these figures are just the tip of the iceberg. Ukraine is now at a crossroads: either move to constructive action or remain in the shadows.
We have resistance. Truth against imitation. And we will not stop. It is time to not just discuss the problem, but to take control into our own hands.
